So this week saw us celebrating our Trade & DIY store’s 1st Birthday! NBK has been established for over 20 years, having sites spread across Norfolk and Suffolk including; Diss Bathroom and Kitchen Showroom, Norwich Heigham Street Bathroom and Kitchen Showroom, Norwich Thorpe End Bathroom Showroom, Hellesdon HQ, Hellesdon Admin and last but not least Hellesdon Trade & DIY Store. As a local and independent business we strive to deliver a high quality of customer service and workmanship throughout all arms of the business including our newest Trade branch. Our customers support us not only with their business but also with their amazing reviews and project photograph participation. Now that we have celebrated our 1st Birthday for our Trade Store we just want to thank all of our customers, colleagues and other businesses that we work alongside with that makes being NBK such a joyful and successful experience. How exciting, our first ever Norfolk Day!The BBC and The Eastern Daily Press have come together to launch this community event and we think it's great. The #NorfolkDay Facebook Group already has over 1.2k members and they're seeing businesses small and large jumping on board to support the day. Taking place on Friday 27th July, we'll be supporting the day for the whole week. We've already started our support by purchasing official merchandise and promoting the day on social media. So here it is ... Our NBK Trade Showroom will be increasing it's MULTI-BUY DISCOUNT SCHEME for local traders. This month we've been named in Billboard Media's 'Spring's most creative billboard campaigns ... ', so I thought I'd tell you a little bit more about how our lovely new campaign was created!
Our NBK Trade & DIY store launched October 2017, Gareth (MD) wanted to bring a personal, quality and dedicated service to the people of Norwich. Whether you fit bathrooms on a day to day basis or you're doing your own bathroom renovation as a one off, Gareth wanted everyone to get the same quality and expertise service. April 2018, 6 months after launch ... the store was already doing well, having customers walk through the door after hearing about us from friends or via advertising. Our customers would say how great our store was, how refreshing it was to have that personal service and most of all how competitive our prices were! All very positive, but we still needed to get the word out there, we wanted more of our Norwich residents to know about our great prices and quality products. In came Kate & James ... May 2018, 'What are you waiting for?' Campaign Launch ... Gareth and I worked hard to come up with a campaign that would appeal to both our Trade & DIY customers. After a few drafts and several scribbled scripts we had it, our radio campaign was put together with Radio Norwich and we could then use our wonderful new script to create our visual artwork that would be used across multiple media platforms. Nathan (Rock Solid Graphics) and I sat down and after an hour or so Kate & James were created. Nathan has been working with NBK for several years now and it's great to work with another local business that grasps our brand so well! Look out for Kate & James on our billboard on Hellesdon Hall Road (we're just round the corner opposite Asda), in the local Norwich Extra Newspaper, on the local Radio Norwich, on Newmarket Roundabout supporting Norwich in Bloom and not forgetting Facebook & Instagram!
