This customers home renovation perfectly showcases how expert kitchen design combined with full-scale building works can completely transform a home. By rethinking the layout, improving flow, and maximising functionality, we created a space that is both stylish and practical - ideal for everyday living and hosting alike.

Bringing the customers vision to life

Our customer wanted a full renovation, not just a new kitchen. Years of cracked internal plaster and outdated layouts needed addressing, and they chose NBK because we could handle the entire project – from structural works and electrical upgrades to heating installations and interior finishes. The result is a home that feels modern, cohesive, and tailored to their lifestyle.

Opening up the space

A key part of the project involved removing the wall between the kitchen and dining area to create a bright, open-plan living space. The redesigned layout allows natural light to flood the room, while a large central island with a bespoke extractor becomes the heart of the home – perfect for cooking, dining, and hosting.

Smart, stylish details

One of our favourite touches is the concealed utility room door. This clever design hides the laundry area while also creating cosy cubby holes for the family’s dogs – a great example of combining style with everyday practicality.
